Who are we

RGBS is an experienced construction company which undertakes new builds and renovations for private clients, ranging from £5,000 to £5 million and everything in between.

We are based in Leatherhead but we operate throughout Surrey and South West London.

We always work to our Price Promise.

RGBS PRICE PROMISE

RGBS will promise to:

  • provide a detailed quotation, listed and costed in a logical sequence.
  • price to your drawings, specifications and /or brief.
  • insert a “Provisional Allowance” where a specification/quantity is not yet known. Then your choices are to:-
  1. agree the specification/quantity and costs prior to works commencing – amending the contract price.
  2. agree the specification/quantity and costs during the construction process – adding or omitting costs as a variation to the contract price.
  • structure our quotations in a way that makes it easy for you to change specifications of items such as switches, sockets, sanitaryware, etc. 
  • highlight items that we feel may have been missed, and advise of likely costs.
  • issue a tender programme with all our quotations.
  • offer a JCT contract for all projects and make our payment terms clear.

 

If we are successful, RGBS will promise to:

  • submit regular valuations and agree amounts due prior to invoicing.
  • advise of your anticipated final costs with each valuation. 
  • agree upfront and in writing, wherever possible, all variation costs, prior to the variation works commencing.
  • regularly inform you of progress and any potential delays.
  • deal with any issues or queries promptly.
  • complete the works to a high standard with professionalism and courtesy.

 

I was so lucky to discover RGBS for my 440m² new-build house. Our 11 month project was completed on time and on budget and we have a fantastic house that we are very proud of. Our house was practically stripped back to the bare bones and initially it didn’t look like it would ever go back together! The plans soon came to life and the attention to detail was so much more than we had imagined. From the outside, our Victorian farm workers cottage has retained its identity but inside, the house has a more modern feel which is exactly what we wanted.
